Top 8 Get ready to step it up

Aotea Idol said a sad farewell to Meganrose and Jamie this week, "there were many anxious moments in the competition and it was a challenge to pick a good song that I could sing well" said Jamie after his elimination.

The top 8 have been told to step it up this Tuesday and make sure that they are prepared and ready to perform to the highest standard. "Song choice and familiarity with the music has been a major issue this season" (Miss W. aka Ellen).

The top ten idols performed in crazy circumstrances yesterday. Music was missing, many had just returned from II Soccer, yet we managed a show. Top 12 Unprepared?

Well the Top 12 brought the party this week. There were some highs and lows. The message from the judges is clear...you must be prepared. Pick a good song and learn it, there were far too many errors this week. On a high note, Kingston, Lydia, Jacob, Meganrose and Toni proved that they have got what it takes to be an Aotea Idol.
